Freestyle Event Photography recently photographed Absolute Value, an inner city property valuation company. The actual time spent photographing a team of 10 people was around 40 minutes, which may not seem like much. What clients don’t see is the behind-the-scenes preparation and post-production that goes into taking a group photo.

On a clear, cool winter’s day, Freestyle were in attendance as official photographers for the New Zealand Air Force Awards Parade. While the Freestyle team have photographed Anzac parades for Auckland City Council, this is the first time we have been called upon to photograph New Zealand’s armed forces.

Photographing a Country Road Flagship Store and Media Launch
Fashion retail giant Country Road opened a new flagship store in Auckland and asked Freestyle Event Photography to photograph the store interiors and media launch. Our photographers worked carefully with the PR team to ensure key shots were obtained of both the store display, staff and visiting ‘influencers’ and media dignitaries.

Photographing a Christmas Event for Lush
In October this year, cosmetics company Lush held an exclusive media launch event for journalists and influencers at Quay Project Space in Auckland, showcasing the brand’s new product range out in time for Christmas. Freestyle Event Photography were chosen as the photographers to cover this event.
PMI Conference
We were engaged to photograph the dinner that was held as part of this conference for project managers. PMI is an international organisation and the New Zealand chapter is one of more than 300 worldwide, with over 500,000 members.
Geneva Healthcare Clients’ Ball
Geneva Healthcare provide support services to people with disabilities. This event, which Freestyle Event Photography was hired to document, was an annual ball for their clients, held at Eden Park, a venue where we have shot before. Special guests included: Suzy Cato, Peter Williams, and Michelle Isemonger.
ASUM CONFERENCE PHOTOGRAPHY – LIVING LONGER
Medicine has come a long way from one hundred years ago. Then, humans lived to around 35 years. Today, we reach in NZ 82 years. This gives us so much more living – in a sense we live two complete lives. Medicine is one critical factor in giving us longevity.
