Geneva Healthcare provide support services to people with disabilities. This event, which Freestyle Event Photography was hired to document, was an annual ball for their clients, held at Eden Park, a venue where we have shot before. Special guests included: Suzy Cato, Peter Williams, and Michelle Isemonger.
It seems clear from the photos we took that everyone (about 300 people) had a good time, enjoying the buffet dinner, performances from Touch Compass – the inclusive performance art company with both disabled and non-disabled performers – and a music therapy choir, as well as all comers joining in the dancing, including wheelchair users. Yes, it is possible to dance in a wheelchair!
