DataVault are expanding their business. Last year, they added a third data hall to their Auckland datacentre, along with facilities that can be used by customers while doing their installation work on site. This hall was filled up with new and expanding customers ahead of projections, and so DataVault will soon begin adding a fourth hall to the centre.
The event that Freestyle was invited to photograph took place in the room that will become the fourth data hall, at the premises in Grafton. This was an excellent space for photography, thanks to the white walls and ceiling.
DataVault pride themselves on the sustainability of their datacentres, and the datacentre building is fitted out with solar panels on the roof. Datacentres consume a lot of energy, and DataVault’s renewable energy efforts mean they have the best green credentials in New Zealand.
We provided a quick selection of 11 photos taken over the two-day event, so the client could use them for their LinkedIn post on Monday morning.
The full range of photos show different parts of the centre and people being shown around the building, being addressed as a group when gathered in the future fourth hall, then later, chatting with each other and trying out some of the fun activities that were provided.
